These figures come from every confirmed ski transfer in our dispatch calendar between 15 November 2025 and 14 April 2026, to and from Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo. Cancelled bookings are left out. We show shares of the season, not booking totals.

When the ski season peaks

February alone carried 40% of the season, and January and February together 68%. In Pamporovo more than half of all trips (53%) fell in February.

A Saturday was more than twice as busy as a Tuesday. Booking a Saturday transfer in February early is what gets you the vehicle size you want.

Bansko and Borovets guests fly mainly into Sofia. Pamporovo is the exception: three out of four of our Pamporovo airport transfers started or ended at Plovdiv Airport.
When skiers land
Of all airport-to-resort pickups, 58% were between 11:00 and 13:59, 22% between 18:00 and midnight and 4% between midnight and 06:00. At Plovdiv Airport 91% of arrivals fell in the 11:00–13:59 window. Sofia was more spread out, with 50% at midday and 27% in the evening.
How big the groups are

The median group was 3 people. 67% travelled in a sedan or estate, 12% in a minivan and 21% in a minibus, so one booking in three needed a minivan or minibus for people and ski bags. See ski group transfers for larger parties.

February. It carried 40% of all our ski transfers in winter 2025/26, and January another 28%. Saturday was the busiest day of the week, with 20.5% of trips.
How long before my flight will I be collected from Bansko or Borovets?
For a flight from Sofia Airport, the median pickup was 5 hours before departure in Bansko and 4 hours before departure in Borovets. That time covers the drive, the winter road and about two hours at the airport.
Sofia or Plovdiv Airport for Pamporovo?
Most of our Pamporovo guests fly into Plovdiv: 76% of our Pamporovo airport transfers last winter used Plovdiv Airport. For Bansko and Borovets it is the other way round, with 84% and 86% via Sofia Airport.
